Become a Trauma-Aware Parent
You love your children more than anything.
But some days, parenting feels overwhelming.
You find yourself reacting in ways you swore you never would — snapping, shutting down, over-accommodating, or getting lost in the busyness so you don’t have to feel the stress.
It’s not because you’re a “bad parent.”
It’s because your nervous system is doing what it learned to do a long time ago — and no one ever showed you how to change the patterns.
Here’s the truth:
To raise emotionally healthy children, you need more than parenting tips.
You need tools that help you understand yourself, heal old wounds, and parent from a regulated, grounded place.
Â
That’s exactly what Trauma-Aware Parenting is here to give you.
Imagine a parenting journey where triggers become invitations to heal, where meltdowns become moments of connection, and where you and your child grow — together.
Â
What Makes This Course Different
Most parenting courses stop at surface-level tips.
We wanted to bridge the gap by creating the one place where you learn everything you need to know — about yourself, your children, and how to heal as a family.
Inside this Program, you will Receive:
• Regulation tools for you as a parent — so you can show up grounded, calm, and connected even in the tough moments.
• A clear understanding of your child’s development — so you know what’s actually realistic at each stage, and you can parent from knowledge instead of frustration.
• Practical ways to teach your child regulation skills — giving them lifelong tools for resilience, confidence, and emotional well-being.
• Healing practices for old wounds — breaking free from generational cycles and rewriting the patterns you may have inherited.
This is more than a course, it’s a roadmap for transformation.
The skills you gain here will support you and your children for years to come.
You’ll be building foundations for everlasting change, for yourself, your family, and the generations that follow.

"I absolutely love the trauma-aware parenting course and wish this had been available before I became pregnant"
I absolutely love the trauma-aware parenting course and wish this had been available before I became pregnant! As a domestic violence survivor, it really helps me deeply understand the impact of the trauma on my toddler and how I can best support her emotional wellbeing and development going forward, especially since healing begins with awareness.
It's delivered in such a beautifully non-judgmental way, with concepts that are backed by research and neuroscience. I truly believe that every parent or parent-to-be should go through this course, particularly if you are committed to breaking generational cycles and creating an emotionally safe, connected and healthy environment for your children to grow up in. This is one huge way we can positively impact the world of the future today. Thank you so much Melissa and Tara 🫶🏽✨️🩷

Wow so good!
Thank you, Mel, feel blessed to be included in another great course that you are providing. Just finished. Wow so good. Absolutely love that you're getting such important information across. It is clear, powerful and spot on. Thank you for the opportunity to be trauma-informed on parenting. I just wish I had this when my children were younger. This information is not just great for parents but for grandparents, teachers, foster parents or anyone that works with or has children in their life. Can relate to so much.
I love how you are really putting across that there is no blame, just ongoing trauma being passed down. Letting people know most things we do are not intentional. Help parents to be aware of how they might be going about things in a way that could cause trauma and how to be aware of their own trauma. It really is great. I have already made some great changes in our little family to make sure my little one feel seen and heard. I do the whole being OCD in the house. Being so busy all the time. You should have seen their little faces the more I interacted with them. So thank you. 🙏

TARA RUSSELL - PARENTING COACH, AUTHOR AND MOTHER OF TWO
Tara is the co-creator of Trauma Aware Parenting, a Parenting Coach, Embodied Processing Level 2 Practitioner, Children’s Mindfulness Practitioner, and the author of two children’s somatic awareness books. Drawing on her experience as a mother of two young children, Tara emphasises the importance of re-parenting ourselves, regulating the nervous system, and healing childhood imprints as a parallel process to raising children. She takes an integrative approach to educating and coaching parents, weaving together the latest neuroscience with ancient, intuitive, and body-based wisdom — all grounded in presence, attunement, and compassion. Tara also brings lived experience of addiction, trauma, depression, and anxiety. In learning to hold space for herself through these challenges, she has developed the capacity to hold space for other parents whose past imprints are shaping how they relate to their children today. Through her work, Tara invites parents to slow down, connect, and step into a new way of raising children — one that heals generational patterns, nurtures resilience, and strengthens the bond between parent and child.
